Tesla Pumps BTC

 

If you havent heard by now where have your been? BTC is current sitting at $47k and this is all down to Tesla buying a whopping $1.5billion in BTC, this drove use from $37k to $47k and also gave us the largest one day candle ever seen for BTC

Also as always ETH is following BTC hitting all time highs of $1700 which is giving huge hope to the GPU miners who are now returning a nice profit on their rigs. I have even booted two of mine back up and with my expensive exlectricity cost even I am returning a profit.

Where can we go from here? Well rumours are we arent going to stop with Tesla, a recent report has found that Apple yes Apple are looking into the posibility of a crypto exchange. I mean if there is even the slightest rumour to this then it is absolutely huge news, crypto coming to the hands of 1.4billion Apple devices?

We will have to wait and see! Trying to get the blog going again seeing as I have been back into the crypto space for the last few months and my rigs are back on, we might even see if we can get our .com address back! In the mean time dont miss the BTC run and buy some now via Binance

How To Mine LUX Coin

LUX coin has only been around 4 months at the time of writing this but it is already proving a little gem to mine with GPU's. There isn't much information on it and because the algorithm is not featured on whattomine.com's list yet it still returns a nice profit. Its uses an algorithm that I didn't even know existed until I was recommended to mine the coin PHI1612. 

Also the wallet for LUX is pretty nice and allows you to stake so lets get started

First Download the wallet, install and start syncing it, you can download it from the official website here

Next we need some mining software, I've been mining with my Nvidia 1070 and from what I can see you can also mine with AMD but I am not 100% sure. Download the Nvidia miner here

Also I have created a simple BAT file to start mining, copy it to the CCminer folder and and right click and edit it. Change the red circled area to your own LUX wallet address. Download the bat file here

The bat file is setup to mine at altminer.net unimining.net, after you have changed your username head over to the website and enter your address to see your stats. The address will look something like this unimining.net/?address=LTGt7iFM2z7fNGmRgU8DrnKtnZvi1hbtgi

If you choose the AMD miner I still advise using altminer pool but obviously our bat file will not work with SGMINER

New Closed Facebook Group

With our website growing rapidly and trying to expand into other avenues I have created a close Facebook group page. The intention of this is to be a friendly community where we can help anyone with anything to do with crypto, from mining to trading to generally asking crypto related questions. I only have one rule to start with and that will be the posting of no referral links, I tend to find that referral links are a key part of spamming groups. Bitcoin Reaches New All Time High

Over the last 24 hours there has been a mad flurry of activity within the Bitcoin market, first we see Bitcoin go on a huge run and break the $5000 barrier. Then I wake up in the morning to find out that Bitcoin peaked at $5854!!

I was amazed and shocked, $5000 was enough for me I really did not think we were going to carry on and run nearly to six thousand. I see six thousand dollars being really achievable now before the end of the year, although I will wait before I make anymore decisions and see what Bitcoin Gold will do to the price. I am expecting it to dip, not massively but I think we will see a dip mainly because people are stocking up on Bitcoin so they can claim their own Bitcoin gold. Then once they have sold their Bitcoin Gold (which I believe most people will dump straight away) they will re invest their money into altcoins and they will see a huge push in price

The altcoin market is slumped at the moment what with Bittrex having some strange goings on as we saw everything on Bittrex drop in price, and also like I said above people selling off their altcoins to have as much Bitcoin for the Bitcoin Gold Drop.

Could we really see peoples predictions of $10k next year become true? I really think it will depend on how the 25th October pans out

Ethereum Mining Difficulty Reaches Record High

The second biggest cryptocurrency Ethereum has seen a huge jump in difficulty as it has never seen before. It is currently at the time of writing hovering around the 3TH mark which may cause a big big problem for home GPU miners. I know I turned off my little GPU farm a while ago and sold it all when the RX480 prices were insanely high, my question now is how much has this affected your earnings? I am not sure if I have ever seen such a rise in difficulty so quickly with majority of the rise taking only 24 hours to reach its peak

First Bitcoin Only House Purchase Completed in Texas

Everyday is another milestone for Bitcoin, today we have seen another price drop this week and another recovery things have been a bit crazy recently. Although this has not halted progression, we have now seen the first Bitcoin only house purchase be completed in Texas. Alot of you may not think this is much of a big deal but believe me it is. This adoption is important as it will increase momentum, publicity and price cycle, which will only grown Bitcoin.

The new owner sent the Bitcoin to the seller who then converted it into USD and he had this to say

"In all of my 33 years of closing transactions, I honestly couldn't have expected something so unique to go so smoothly. In a matter of 10 minutes, the Bitcoin was changed to US Dollars and the deal was done!”

Must of used a high transaction fee :) but seriously this is just another step to widespread usage of  Bitcoin

Electroneum Mobile Crypto Currency

Today I have come across Electroneum which is an ICO that is gathering a big following and from watching the video above you can see why. One of the hardest things with crypto is getting started and learning everything from wallets to mining, as the video says Electroneum aims to end this and make crypto more accessible to more people.

The future as the video says is aimed at gamers, a currency that can be used between games and transferred into real money. It has a great team behind it and I definitely think it is worth keeping an eye on

Today I came across a website that will interest alot of new traders and alot of people that are thinking of getting into trading. The website is Altcoin Forecast and it does exactly what it says, they provide short term and long term graphs on possible market movements. Do remember though these are only market predictions these are not guaranteed, so don't start putting lots of money into a  coin because they said it is going it go up, it is merely a guide.

Im going to monitor a few coins they have done graph predictions for and will see what happens, I have read lots of good feedback so far
