Bitcoin Reaches New All Time High

Over the last 24 hours there has been a mad flurry of activity within the Bitcoin market, first we see Bitcoin go on a huge run and break the $5000 barrier. Then I wake up in the morning to find out that Bitcoin peaked at $5854!!

I was amazed and shocked, $5000 was enough for me I really did not think we were going to carry on and run nearly to six thousand. I see six thousand dollars being really achievable now before the end of the year, although I will wait before I make anymore decisions and see what Bitcoin Gold will do to the price. I am expecting it to dip, not massively but I think we will see a dip mainly because people are stocking up on Bitcoin so they can claim their own Bitcoin gold. Then once they have sold their Bitcoin Gold (which I believe most people will dump straight away) they will re invest their money into altcoins and they will see a huge push in price

The altcoin market is slumped at the moment what with Bittrex having some strange goings on as we saw everything on Bittrex drop in price, and also like I said above people selling off their altcoins to have as much Bitcoin for the Bitcoin Gold Drop.

Could we really see peoples predictions of $10k next year become true? I really think it will depend on how the 25th October pans out

Altcoin Forecasts

Today I came across a website that will interest alot of new traders and alot of people that are thinking of getting into trading. The website is Altcoin Forecast and it does exactly what it says, they provide short term and long term graphs on possible market movements. Do remember though these are only market predictions these are not guaranteed, so don't start putting lots of money into a  coin because they said it is going it go up, it is merely a guide.

Im going to monitor a few coins they have done graph predictions for and will see what happens, I have read lots of good feedback so far

First Batch of Radeon Mining GPU's Revealed

So over the last few days on our Facebook page we have been hearing about the rumours that there is mining GPU's in production and aimed for release very very soon. Well over at overclockers.co.uk they have now listed various Radeon GPU's for sale all with figures for mining Eth.

Now the figures aren't fantastic when reflected against the price but when you consider there are no 580's in stock in the UK and these are available to pre-order now this could be huge for people with GPU farms. Another thing that I think this is huge for is it shows that cryptocurrency is getting some serious recognition, finally people are waking up to the fact that it is not going anywhere and is here to stay

So quite often I watch the announcement on Bitcointalk and see the amount of coins that get posted, and in all honesty I do not tend to bother with many of them. Byteball on the other hand seems to be a bit of a no brainer for me, especially when getting coins is so so easy if you have  a BTC balance.

Its very very simple to use with the most popular GPU's already programmed into it. Simply input your cost per Kwh and it will carry out the calculations for you. Dont ever mine at a loss!

Also did you know that if you are a Nicehash user they run a profitability calculator aswell based on there algorithms. Again it is another great website to make sure you earn money but the only downside is its totally focused using Nicehash software. Check it out here 

Where to Mine Scrypt or X11

With X11 and scrypt becoming more and more popular to mine not that the difficulty of Bitcoin has shot up there is a few places where you can make decent amounts of coin. I personally always used clevermining.com but the return rate has become less and less with the rise of new scrypt mining asics. One of the few places I still personally mine scrypt at is ltcrabbit.com, here they pay in LTC but the rate per mh/s is alot greater than many of the other sites available.

Personally I would always compare it against Nicehash just purely due to the ease of there mining software, especially when mining with multiple GPU's

How To Make A Bitcoin Paper Wallet

So what and why would you want a Bitcoin paper wallet? A Bitcoin paper wallet is the ultimate secure way to store you Bitcoin, there is no digital element everything is completely offline and completely safe. Many people tend to do both, secure there digital wallet and also make a paper back up just for safe keeping.

So how can I make a paper wallet?

1. To generate a new bitcoin address, open BitAddress.org in your browser (or LiteAddress.org for litecoin).
2. BitAddress (but not LiteAddress) will ask you to create some randomness by either randomly typing characters into the form or moving your cursor around.
3. You will be presented with your public and private keys and their respective QR codes. Do not scan these.
4. Click the ‘Paper wallet’ tab.
5. Select the number of addresses to generate.
6. If you don’t wish to keep the bitcoin artwork, click the ‘Hide art?’ button.
7. Click the ‘Generate’ button to create new wallets.
8. Once the wallets are generated, click the ‘Print’ button to make a hard copy.
9. Your browser will ask you to select the printer you wish to use. In the case of Google Chrome, you may also save the page as a PDF file.
10. Make a note of the public addresses, or scan the public address QR code in your bitcoin (or litecoin) app and start depositing funds.
