PRE-ORDER: Apollo BTC - A Bitcoin ASIC Miner and Desktop Class Computer running a Full Node

 

Futurebit.io have announced pre orders 05/02/21 for the new and very classy looking Apollo BTC desktop miner. You have a choice of three different options all listed below

Full Apollo Package: This is our Full Package option that comes with everything you need in the box. The Apollo BTC Unit with our latest controller built in, and our 200W Power supply with power cable. 

Standard: This option is ONLY the Apollo Hashboard, with no controller or power supply. Our new hashboard has a micro USB port, and can be used as a USB device. The Full Apollo Node can control multiple standard units through its USB ports. We wanted to give our customers an option to expand their hash power in a cost effective way. If you already have a Raspberry Pi, or Linux/Windows Desktop Computer and a power supply with two PCIE power ports you can also control our Standard unit in this way with our stand alone miner software (please note this setup will be for more advanced users, and the software will be command line based on launch). 

Standard + Power Supply: Same as our Standard unit above, but comes with our 200W Power supply. This is a plug and play solution if you already have a Full Apollo Package. Take it out of the box, plug in the power supply, plug in the micro USB cable to the back of your Full Apollo BTC and it will automatically recognize the second hashboard and start mining!

FutureBit Releasing Apollo Miner

For people that have been into hobby mining for a long time then they will understand the love for USB miners, a simple and effective way to get you into the mining scene but staying on a budget. Futurebit have announced they will be releasing the Apollo miner which for you USB lovers is the next step up on a budget. Here are the specs

Expect it to retail at around $200-$300 which isn't to bad but the cost per $ per MH is no as good as Bitmain, although the power usage per MH is a ton better. Just be aware if you are looking to make serious money this may not be the item for you

Innosilicon New T2 Turbo Bitcoin ASIC Miner

Innosilicon has released its new T2 turbo Bitcoin miner which can be seen above and hashes at around 25Th/s using 1980Watts. For me the power usage is still way to high for me to earn a good profit but the machine is selling at $1350 which is really quite cheap for the spec and compared to Bitmain. It also comes with a PSU which can be seen on top of the miner, delivery of the first batch starts from 15th August to 25th August on a first come first serve basis

Although I do believe Bitmain will release their own newest Antminer for BTC very soon, not sure of what speed/power we will see but I think it will be more than what Innosilicon are offering
